My business remains solidly profitable, while I am continually enhancing the platform. Still with a net cost of only $15 per month, our EFF customers enjoy many of the same features and benefits that competing platforms offer at 5 to 10 times our pricing. And perhaps some they don't!
EFF can't be all things to all people, but we do have a niche with small farms looking to make direct sales. Our farms range anywhere from $1K to $350K in annual sales volume. If you're reading this and your farm is in that range, we should talk. We may have everything you need, while offering a significant savings.
We have many farms and ranches selling meat products. One of the key EFF features is ability to offer products based a typical weight and a unit price, and then update the final pricing based on the actual weights provided. The customers get what they pay for and our farmers are properly compensated for what they provide. Our programming makes the process simple.
One upgrade we made in the last year or so is offer vitual hosting. In the past, all of our customer websites had a final web address of something.eatfromfarms.com. By adding virtual hosting, we gave farms the ability to use the EFF platform under their own domain name. Added cost for using our virtual hosting --- $0.
Pricing aside, perhaps the best thing about our platform is that it's a relatively simple to learn and use.
There is nothing to download. It's logically designed and made for low tech folks, although many farmers today are pretty tech-savvy. A Help section is included for reference but is not needed for much of the setup work.
